12 Jul Summer Fete 2026
We held our summer fete on Saturday, 4th July. It was a lovely afternoon and we want to thank everyone for all your support. Many donated items, baked cakes, helped behind the scenes or helped on a stall. Your contribution made a real difference.
We are also very grateful to all the local businesses who generously donated items for our tombola/raffle. They are: Costa Coffee, Domino’s Pizza, Ellesmere Angling Club, Green End Pharmacy, Holly Farm Garden Centre, Tesco, The Card Factory, The Old Piggery Cafe at Brookdale, and The Peacock Inn. Thank you so much! We appreciate the support we have within our local community.
We’re delighted to announce that we raised £1330.40, which will go into the resident’s comfort fund and be used for outings and booking entertainment.
For those of you who were able to attend, we hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did. It was wonderful to see so many of you there.
A special mention goes to Whitchurch Brass Band, who performed for us at the fete. It was lovely to have some live music at the event.
