Meet the Team

Elmhurst has a dedicated team of highly qualified nurses and skilled carers

Meet the team

Delivering a level of care that a loved one expects and deserves.

Staff and the management team worked tirelessly, side by side, to maintain normality for residents throughout the extensive refurbishment and reconfiguration after Elmhurst was privately purchased in 2017.

Successful restoration

Improvements were made throughout the home to incorporate better care facilities, upgraded furniture and decor, and to enhance staff, catering and laundry areas.

Co-owners Philippa and Michael Turner have established an enviable reputation for care industry standards, having successfully refurbished two care homes previously, including The Old Rectory Care Home just outside of the village of Albrighton.

One of The Old Rectory’s residents is the mother of local business entrepreneur, Graham Wynn. Graham was so impressed with the care his mother received and the excellent facilities at The Old Rectory, that he and his wife Jenny agreed to refurbish Elmhurst as a joint-venture. The partnership has proved to be a winning formula and ensured the complete transformation of Elmhurst.

Professionalism, attention to detail, and compassion is deeply embedded within every member of the Elmhurst Care Home team, who are now all directly employed. With a permanent, motivated workforce, residents feel more comfortable, which has meant the development of positive relationships and trust between staff and residents.
